I appreciate the effort you've put forth to create each character (and exhibiting your process).
The design of the character cards is broken up into many boxes. Consider connecting the character image to another "box" so that the hierarchy of read is clearly established.
The image and information could take up the entire card rather than squeeze the information into small compartments in order to have a background texture. In other words, consider the edge of the card as your box rather than establish boxes within it.
